Xtar Toothpaste is used for managing the formation of dental calculus and tartar. Its specialised formula contains active ingredients like Potassium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Pyrophosphate and Sodium Fluoride that work synergistically to help manage and reduce the buildup of plaque and tartar on teeth. Potassium Pyrophosphate and Sodium Pyrophosphate act as chelating agents, binding to calcium in saliva to inhibit its adherence to teeth and help minimise the formation of calculus. Sodium Fluoride helps to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause cavities and strengthens tooth enamel.
