Zadonase F Raspberry Vanilla Flavour Sugar Free Suspension 100ml

Zadonase-F Oral Suspension is used to manage the following conditions:

• Seasonal allergic rhinitis in children aged 2 years and older

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria in children aged 6 months and older

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Measure the correct dose with a measuring spoon or cup.

• The medicine can be given with or without food. However, giving it with meals can help with better absorption.

• If your child vomits within half an hour of taking the medicine, let them settle down and then repeat the same dose. Skip this repeated dose if it's already time for the next one.

• Always follow your doctor's advice on dosage and duration of use for Zadonase-F Oral Suspension.

Zadonase-F Oral Suspension is given orally.

Zadonase-F Oral Suspension contains Fexofenadine Hydrochloride (30mg):

• H1-Receptor Antagonist: Fexofenadine Hydrochloride acts as an H1-receptor antagonist. This essentially means it blocks histamine, a chemical produced by the body during an allergic reaction, from binding to H1 receptors. This action reduces the immune system's response and provides relief from allergic symptoms.

• Non-Drowsy Effect: Unlike first-generation antihistamines, Fexofenadine Hydrochloride does not cross the blood-brain barrier. This means your child will not feel drowsy after taking Zadonase-F Oral Suspension.

• Store Zadonase-F Oral Suspension at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct heat and light to maintain its effectiveness.

• Ensure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use to prevent exposure to air and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children for their safety.

• To help manage your child's allergic symptoms, try to identify and limit exposure to known allergens in their diet or environment, such as dust mites or certain food items.

• Encourage your child to drink plenty of water, but avoid giving them fruit juices like grapefruit, orange or apple juice while they are taking Zadonase-F Oral Suspension, as these can decrease the absorption and effectiveness of Fexofenadine Hydrochloride.
