Tear Drops 10ml

Tear Drops are used in the following conditions: 

• Dry eyes: These drops relieve dry eye discomfort by lubricating and soothing the eye surface.
• Eye irritation: These drops reduce irritation caused by environmental factors like dust, smoke, or prolonged screen time.
• Eye strain: These drops help reduce eye strain often experienced after extended periods of reading or computer use.
• Contact lens discomfort: These drops provide moisture and comfort for contact lens wearers, reducing lens-related irritation.
• Redness relief: These drops temporarily relieve minor redness of the eyes due to minor irritants or fatigue.
• Allergies: These drops ease eye symptoms associated with allergies, such as itching and watering.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before using Tear Drops.
• Remove contact lenses before using these eye drops.
• Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Squeeze the prescribed amount of this medication into the bag made by your lower eyelid.
• Close your eyes gently and blink a few times to spread the gel evenly across the surface of your eye.
• Wipe away any excess gel with a clean tissue.
• Repeat the process for the other eye if required.

Tear Drops are instilled topically in the eye. 

Tear Drops contain the following components:

• Carboxy methyl cellulose (5 mg): It functions by attaching to corneal epithelial cells through its glucopyranose subunits, binding to glucose receptors GLUT-1. This binding promotes corneal cell attachment, migration, and the re-epithelialization of corneal wounds, enhancing ocular healing processes.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Tear Drops away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to dry environments or excessive air conditioning.
• Take regular breaks during activities that require intense visual focus, such as computer work or reading.
• Protect your eyes from harsh sunlight by wearing sunglasses with UV protection.
• Avoid rubbing your eyes, as this can worsen dry eye symptoms.
• If you wear lenses, you may reinsert them after 10 minutes following administration of these drops.
• Do not wear contact lenses if your eye is persistently red.

• Wash your hands before using Tear Drops Eye Drops.
• Use the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor.
• Do not use it if the solution appears cloudy.
• Wait five minutes between using other eye medications.
• Remove contact lenses before using this medication.
