Rozucor F Ls 10/67 MG Tablet is used to manage the following conditions:

• High levels of total cholesterol in the blood

• Elevated LDL-C, often known as "bad" cholesterol

• Raised levels of a particular protein called apoB, which can contribute to heart disease

• Elevated triglycerides, another type of fat found in your blood

• Lowered HDL-C, also known as "good" cholesterol

• Primary hypercholesterolemia, a condition where your cholesterol levels are unusually high due to genetic factors

• Mixed dyslipidemia, a condition marked by abnormal levels of different types of fats in your blood

• Severe hypertriglyceridemia, when the level of triglycerides in your blood is extremely high

Rozucor F Ls 10/67 MG Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This component activates a special receptor in the body called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα), which boosts the breakdown and elimination of triglyceride-rich particles from your blood. It also reduces the production of apolipoprotein C-III, an inhibitor of lipoprotein lipase activity – a process that helps regulate fat in your body. Moreover, fenofibrate increases the synthesis of apolipoproteins A-I and A-II, key components of HDL or "good" cholesterol. Lastly, it facilitates the removal of uric acid from your body by increasing urinary excretion.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient competitively blocks HMG-CoA reductase, the main enzyme in the body's cholesterol production. In addition, rosuvastatin increases the number of hepatic LDL receptors on your cells' surfaces, enhancing the uptake and breakdown of LDL.
