Ranolaz Tablet is used for:

Ranolaz Tablet contains ranolazine (500 mg) and impacts your body through several mechanisms:

• Inhibition of Late Sodium Current: Ranolazine works by blocking the late sodium current in heart muscle cells. This reduces the overload of calcium in these cells when blood flow to the heart is limited, thereby lessening ventricular tension and improving blood flow.

• Optimisation of Energy Metabolism: During periods of limited blood flow to the heart, ranolazine helps to enhance energy metabolism by facilitating glucose oxidation and reducing fatty acid oxidation. This process makes your heart's work more efficient.

• Alpha and Beta-adrenergic Receptor Blocking Effects: Ranolazine exerts some blocking effects on alpha and beta-adrenergic receptors which contribute to its overall beneficial effect in managing angina.
