About Okacid 20 MG Capsule 15

Okacid Capsules are a type of medicine that decreases the quantity of acid produced in the stomach. It aids in the treatment of acid-related stomach and intestinal illnesses such as heartburn, acid reflux, and peptic ulcer disease.  Okacid Capsules are also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity, which can occur as a result of long-term painkiller use. It is a proton pump inhibitor, which is a type of medicine (PPIs). Take this drug one hour before a meal, ideally first thing in the morning. The dose will be determined by your underlying disease as well as your response to the medicine. Even if your symptoms go away fast, you should continue to take it as directed. By eating smaller meals more frequently and avoiding caffeinated drinks (such as tea and coffee) as well as spicy or fatty foods, you can improve the treatment's effectiveness. Nausea, vomiting, headache, flatulence, diarrhoea, and stomach discomfort are the most typical side effects associated with this medicine. Although these symptoms are usually minor, if they worry you or do not go away, see your doctor. The usage of this medicine for an extended period of time may raise the chance of negative effects. For example, taking this medicine for more than a year may raise your risk of bone fractures, especially if you take greater doses. Consult your doctor about measures to keep your bones from deteriorating (osteoporosis). If you have or have had serious liver issues, adverse reactions to comparable medicines, or bone loss, tell your doctor before using this medicine (osteoporosis). This medicine may interact with or be affected by a variety of other medicine. Make sure your doctor is aware of any other medicine you are taking to ensure your safety. If you are taking medicine for HIV, fungal infections, TB, epilepsy (fits), or some blood thinners, this is very critical. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also seek medical advice before taking this medicine.
