O Cebran D 0.3/0.1 % Eye Drops 5 ML are used for the following:

• Managing bacterial eye infections

• Combating a range of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Haemophilus influenzae, which often cause eye infections

Administer O Cebran D 0.3/0.1 % Eye Drops 5 ML following these steps:

• Clean your hands before using the drops.

• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid.

• Hold the dropper above the eye, squeeze out a drop, and let it fall into the gap between your lower lid and your eye.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or anything else to keep it germ-free.

• Close your eyes for 2–3 minutes after administering the drop.

• If you use more than one type of eye drops, wait for at least 5 minutes before applying the next one.

By doing so, it hampers bacterial replication, transcription, repair, and recombination leading to bacterial cell death and hence managing the infection.

• Dexamethasone (0.1%): As a corticosteroid, dexamethasone helps control inflammation by blocking the release of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. It decreases capillary permeability, prevents white blood cells from moving into areas of inflammation, and reverses increased capillary permeability.
