Norad 2 MG injection is a prescription medication used to attain normal blood pressure in adult patients with acute hypotensive states. It refers to a sudden and significant drop in blood pressure that requires immediate attention and treatment.
Acute hypotension can occur for various reasons, including severe infections, heart problems, blood loss (haemorrhage), allergic reactions, or other critical conditions. Norad 2 MG injection restores blood pressure to improve blood flow to vital organs.
The composition of Norad 2 MG injection includes Norepinephrine (2mg). This medicine is prescribed for blood pressure control in pheochromocytomectomy (removal of adrenal gland tumour), sympathectomy, spinal anaesthesia, myocardial infarction, septicemia, blood transfusion, and drug reactions.
It is also prescribed as an adjunct in treating cardiac arrest and medication dependent hypotension. Norad is considered safe when prescribed by a doctor. However, if you have hyperthyroidism, irregular heartbeats, angina pectoris (chest pain), or any heart problems, or if you recently had a heart attack, inform your doctor before taking this injection.
