Mysone T Cream 10 GM is used for managing the following conditions:

• Ringworm infection, also known as tinea corporis.

• Jock itch, a condition medically referred to as tinea cruris.

• Athlete's foot, which in medical terms is known as tinea pedis.

• Other localised fungal skin infections diagnosed by your doctor.

Applying Mysone T Cream 10 GM is simple. Just follow these steps:

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the area and lightly massage it in until fully absorbed.

• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream unless your hands are in the area being treated.

• Avoid covering or bandaging the area unless advised by your doctor.

Mysone T Cream 10 GM is applied topically.

Mysone T Cream 10 GM contains two active ingredients that work together to effectively manage fungal skin infections:

• Mometasone (0.1%): As a medium-potency corticosteroid, mometasone reduces inflammation, itching, and redness associated with fungal skin infections. It works by producing lipocortins which inhibit phospholipase A2 and the release of inflammatory mediators. Moreover, it reduces the production of interleukins involved in inflammatory reactions and causes vasoconstriction whilst decreasing capillary permeability.

• Terbinafine (1%): This synthetic allylamine antifungal component plays a significant role in managing fungal skin infections. Terbinafine works by inhibiting squalene epoxidase - an enzyme involved in ergosterol synthesis. Ergosterol is an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By disrupting ergosterol synthesis, terbinafine disrupts the fungal cell membrane, eventually leading to fungal cell death.

• Keep Mysone T Cream 10 GM at room temperature.

• Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
