Mucaine Gel belongs to a class of medicines called antacids. It mainly treats acidity, stomach ulcers, and heartburn. A mucous layer typically shields the stomach from acid. This layer can sometimes dissolve due to excessive acid production, which causes acidity and heartburn. This gel reduces the acidity.by forming a layer over the area exposed to the acid, thereby preventing the effect of acid.

It aids in easing indigestion, irritability, and stomach discomfort. Being a prescription-only medicine, it should only be used after consulting a doctor. Before initiating treatment, individual should inform their doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions or ongoing medications. It is essential to follow the recommended dosage and duration of treatment.

Directions for Use of Mucaine Mint Flavour Sugar Free Gel 200ml

Shake the bottle well before every use
It is usually taken 1-2 teaspoons 4 times a day before each meal and at bed time or as per your doctor’s advice.
It is recommended to take it in undiluted form, but if needed, a sip of water can be taken.
Do not consume any other oral medication for 1-2 hrs after taking Mucaine gel.
