Modus-10 Tablet is used for the following purposes:

• Managing secondary amenorrhea, a condition where menstrual periods are absent.

• Controlling abnormal uterine bleeding caused by hormonal imbalance.

• Helping in the management of endometriosis, a painful gynaecological condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it.

• Reducing symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), such as mood swings, bloating, and breast tenderness.

• Preventing excessive growth of the lining of the uterus (endometrial hyperplasia) in postmenopausal women who are receiving estrogen replacement therapy.

Here are some guidelines to follow while taking Modus-10 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Avoid breaking or chewing the tablet before swallowing.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Consult your doctor before discontinuing this medicine.

Modus-10 Tablet is taken orally.

Modus-10 Tablet contains medroxyprogesterone (10 mg), which acts on your body through the following mechanisms:

• Binding with the progesterone receptor: Medroxyprogesterone mimics the action of natural progesterone by binding to progesterone receptors in your body.

• Regulating endometrial growth: By binding to these receptors, medroxyprogesterone controls the growth and shedding of the endometrium, which is the lining of your uterus. This leads to the cessation of abnormal uterine bleeding.

• Restoring the menstrual cycle: Through controlling endometrial growth and shedding, medroxyprogesterone helps restore regular menstrual cycles.

• Keep Modus-10 Tablet in a tightly sealed container.

• Store at room temperature.

• Avoid exposure to excess light and moisture.

• Always keep out of reach of children.

• Use the medicine before the expiry date marked on the pack.

• If you're managing premenstrual syndrome (PMS) with Modus-10 Tablet, consider reducing your intake of caffeine and salt. These can exacerbate bloating and mood swings often associated with PMS.
