Mesacol Suppository is an anti-inflammatory medicine used to prevent ulcerative colitis, a form of bowel illness. It is prescribed when the inner rectum's lining tissue gets irritated (proctitis).  Mesacol Suppository helps to relieve symptoms like diarrhoea, bleeding, and stomach pain. It is administered through the rear canal (rectal route) and should not be consumed orally. It can only be administered under the guidance of a doctor or other healthcare expert. After inserting the suppositories, you must remain in a laying position for at least 15 minutes. The dosage will vary depending on what you're being treated for, but follow your doctor's instructions completely. You should continue to take this medicine for as long as your doctor advises. If you stop taking your medicine too soon, your symptoms may return and your condition may deteriorate.
