• Headache: Mefkind-DS can help alleviate headache pain by reducing inflammation and providing pain-relieving effects. It can be effective for tension headaches, migraines, or other mild to moderate headaches.
• Dental pain: This medication can also temporarily relieve dental pain by reducing inflammation and providing analgesia. It can help manage toothaches, post-dental procedure pain, or pain associated with dental conditions.
• Menstrual cramps: The suspension can effectively manage the symptoms of menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea). It reduces the production of prostaglandins responsible for uterine contractions and pain sensation. By reducing prostaglandin levels, it helps relieve menstrual cramps and associated discomfort.
• Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: Mefkind-DS can help manage the symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis by reducing pain and inflammation. It can provide relief from joint pain, stiffness, and swelling associated with these conditions.

• Shake the Mefkind-DS suspension bottle well before use.
• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the liquid.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.

Mefkind-DS is taken orally.

• Mefenamic acid, an active ingredient in Mefkind-DS, belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It exerts its activity by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemical substances involved in inflammation, pain, and fever. Reducing the levels of prostaglandins helps alleviate pain and reduce inflammation.
• Paracetamol or acetaminophen, another active ingredient in this medication, is an analgesic and antipyretic drug. It is known for its pain-relieving and fever-reducing properties. It also inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are involved in pain and fever signalling to provide quick relief.
