Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet is employed for:

• Managing high blood pressure or hypertension

• Assisting those who haven't responded adequately to dual combination therapy or monotherapy

• You should swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet as it might affect the medication's effectiveness.

• Always stick to the prescribed dosage; taking more than recommended can lead to adverse effects.

• If you feel the need to stop using this medicine, consult your doctor first; abrupt discontinuation can lead to health complications.

Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet is taken orally.

Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet contains three active ingredients, each having a distinct mechanism of action:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This ingredient acts as a diuretic by increasing urine production, which helps remove excess salt and water from your body, thereby reducing the volume of fluid in your blood vessels and decreasing blood pressure.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Known as a calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood and thereby reducing pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), which means it blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict or narrow down. By blocking this action, telmisartan decreases blood pressure.

• Store Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Place the medicine in a tightly closed container, protected from light and moisture.

• Ensure the storage area is not easily accessible to children.
