About Lucitor 1 Mg/1500mcg/0.5mg Tablet 10
L-methylfolate, Vitamin B6, and Methylcobalamin are all included in the Lucitor tablet.
For controlling hyperhomocysteinemia and supplementing the diet, L-methylfolate (a type of folic acid) with vitamins B6 and Methylcobalamin is employed. Methylcobalamin is a neuroprotective vitamin that protects neurons from oxidative damage. Methylcobalamin is a vitamin that aids in the production of healthy red blood cells and nerve cells in the body. Protein transport in diabetes patients' cells is normalised by methylcobalamin. In persons with neuropathies, it has an inhibitory effect on nerve degeneration. Through its role in the transmethylation reaction, methylcobalamin speeds up the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins, and lipids, mending injured nerve tissues.

Methylcobalamin, Pyridoxine, and Folic acid work together to lower homocysteine levels in the blood, which is a primary cause of atherosclerosis. As a result, this medication lowers the primary atherosclerosis risk factors.
Lucitor tablets are used to treat diabetic neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica, and optic neuritis, as well as to lower homocysteine levels.
