The Joseiz-100 Tablet is used for:

• Controlling and preventing seizures, especially focal seizures

• Managing epilepsy when taken alone

• Assisting in epilepsy management when combined with other antiepileptic medicines

• Stabilizing the electrical activity of neurons in the brain to prevent seizures

Here is how you should take Joseiz-100 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Always follow your doctor's recommended dosage.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Joseiz-100 Tablet is taken orally.

Joseiz-100 Tablet contains lacosamide (100 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Enhances Slow Inactivation of Voltage-gated Sodium Channels: Lacosamide enhances the slow inactivation of these channels, which are proteins that allow sodium ions to flow in and out of the neurons. This process stabilises overactive neurons in the brain.

• Regulates Sustained Repetitive Firing of Neurons: By enhancing the slow inactivation, lacosamide regulates the sustained repetitive firing of neurons, which is believed to limit the spread of seizures in the body.

• Keep the Joseiz-100 Tablet in its original package.
