• QT-prolonging medicines: Medicines such as quinidine, sotalol, and venlafaxine can increase the risk of a heart rhythm disorder (QT prolongation) when taken with Izra-D 40 Capsule.

• CYP3A4 inhibitors: Powerful CYP3A4 inhibitors like ketoconazole can increase the levels of domperidone in the blood.

• Acid-dependent medicines: Medicines requiring an acidic stomach environment for absorption, like ketoconazole and iron salts, may have reduced effectiveness due to the acid-suppressing action of esomeprazole.

• Cardiovascular medications: Medicines like digoxin may increase blood levels when taken with Izra-D 40 Capsule.

• Anti-cancer medications: Methotrexate, used for treating certain cancers, may have increased blood levels when taken with this capsule.

• Immunosuppressants: Blood levels of tacrolimus, used after organ transplants to prevent rejection, can increase when taken with Izra-D 40 Capsule.

• Grapefruit juice: This beverage might increase the level of domperidone in your blood, potentially raising the risk of side effects.

• Liver disease: Patients with liver disease should be cautious as it could worsen their condition due to domperidone's metabolism in the liver.

• Gastrointestinal disorders: Conditions like gastrointestinal haemorrhage, obstruction or perforation may contraindicate the use of this capsule.

• Pituitary tumour: Patients diagnosed with prolactin-releasing pituitary tumour (prolactinoma) should avoid this medicine as domperidone could stimulate prolactin release.

• Heart conditions: Patients with existing heart issues should be cautious due to the risk of QT prolongation associated with domperidone.

• Bone disorders: Long-term use of Izra-D 40 Capsule could lead to low magnesium levels, potentially impacting bone health and increasing the risk of fractures. Regular monitoring is advised.
