Hytrin-2 Tablet is used for the following:

• Decreasing symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, such as difficulty in urinating, frequent urination, and urgency

• Lowering high blood pressure levels, either alone or alongside other antihypertensive medicines

To effectively use the Hytrin-2 Tablet, adhere to the instructions below:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's important not to abruptly stop taking this medicine; always consult your doctor first.

Hytrin-2 Tablet is taken orally.

Hytrin-2 Tablet contains terazosin (2 mg). Here's how it works on the body:

• Alpha-1 Receptor Blocker: Terazosin acts as an alpha-1 receptor blocker. These receptors are found in the muscles of your prostate, bladder, neck, and blood vessels. By blocking these receptors, terazosin helps the muscles to relax.

• Improved Urine Flow: Due to its muscle-relaxing effect, terazosin improves the flow of urine. This is particularly helpful for individuals suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia, a condition that can make urination difficult.
