Halox Cream is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Psoriasis, which causes red, scaly and itchy patches on your skin

• Eczema is a condition which makes your skin inflamed, itchy and cracked

• Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin that leads to itchy rashes, dryness and flaking

• Other skin disorders that respond well to corticosteroid therapy

To use Halox Cream correctly, please follow these steps:

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Gently rub a thin layer of the cream into your skin until it is fully absorbed.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application unless your hands are in the area being treated.

• Do not cover or bandage the treated area unless instructed by your doctor.

• Avoid applying to sensitive areas like your eyes and mouth.

• Always consult your doctor for specific advice on using this medicine.

Halox Cream is applied topically.

Halox Cream contains two active ingredients:

• Halobetasol Propionate (0.05%): This ingredient binds with glucocorticoid receptors found within skin cells. This interaction triggers anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects through various pathways in the body. The result is a decrease in the production of inflammation-causing chemicals like prostaglandins and leukotrienes, reduced recruitment of immune cells to the affected skin area, and suppression of collagen synthesis, which can help with skin thickening and lichenification.

• Chlorocresol (0.1%): This component serves as a preservative in Halox Cream, helping to prevent bacterial contamination after opening the tube. By maintaining the product's sterility, chlorocresol ensures its safety and efficacy over time.

• Keep Halox Cream stored at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Place it in a dark, dry area, away from direct light and moisture.

• Make sure the cream is kept out of reach of children.
