Grilinctus Bm Syrup 100ml

Grilinctus-BM Syrup is used to manage the following conditions:

• Cough related to bronchial asthma: This is a condition where the airways of the lungs become inflamed and produce too much mucus, causing a persistent cough.

• Chronic bronchitis: This is long-term inflammation of the bronchi, large air passages in your lungs, leading to a cough that produces mucus.

• Emphysema: This refers to damage to the air sacs in your lungs, resulting in shortness of breath.

• Other bronchopulmonary disorders: These are diseases affecting the bronchi and lungs which cause difficulties with breathing and coughing.

Consume Grilinctus-BM Syrup as follows:

• Pour out the correct dose using the provided measuring cup.

• Ensure you always replace the cap tightly after use.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in patients with diabetes. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

• Remember to take this syrup preferably around meal times or as directed by your doctor.

• Always check the expiry date before using and discard the syrup if it has passed the said date.

Grilinctus-BM Syrup is taken orally.

Grilinctus-BM Syrup contains two active ingredients that work together to alleviate symptoms:

• Terbutaline (2.5 mg): This is a bronchodilator, which means it helps to widen the airways in your lungs. It does so by relaxing the smooth muscles in these airways, making it easier for you to breathe.

• Bromhexine (8 mg): This component is a mucolytic agent. It works by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways, making it easier for you to cough it out. Bromhexine also enhances the transport of mucus by increasing its watery content and reducing its stickiness.

• Always store Grilinctus-BM Syrup in a cool, dry place, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight as it might affect its efficacy.

• Keep it out of the reach of children to avoid accidental consumption.

• If you have bronchial asthma or other respiratory conditions, avoid exposure to allergens such as dust and smoke which can trigger symptoms. Clean your home regularly and use air filters if necessary.

• An anti-inflammatory diet may help manage your condition. Include omega-3 rich foods like fish and flaxseeds in your diet, and reduce intake of processed foods and sugars that can cause inflammation.
