It should be applied to dry, clean skin, and the affected region should not be covered with clothing. If you have an open wound on your skin, you should not use it. Itching, numbness, tingling or pricking sensations, headaches, and dry skin are all possible adverse effects. Hair loss and sleepiness are other common side effects.
