Faceclin Gel is used for managing the following conditions:

• Reducing mild to moderate acne vulgaris: This refers to common acne that includes blackheads, whiteheads, and minor pimples.

• Managing inflamed acne lesions: Inflamed lesions include papules and pustules, often known as spots or zits.

• Controlling excessive sebum production: Sebum is the oily substance that your skin makes and too much can lead to acne.

• Reducing inflammation on the skin: Inflammation causes your skin to become red and swollen.

• Evening out skin tone and fading post-acne marks: Regular use can help improve the appearance of your skin after a breakout.

To get the most from your Faceclin Gel, follow these steps:

• Start by cleaning and drying the affected area on your skin.

• Apply a thin layer of this gel twice daily (morning and evening), using a pea-sized amount for each area of your face like forehead, chin, each cheek.

• Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes while applying.

• Wash hands before and after application to maintain hygiene.

• Remember, it's not necessary to cover the treated areas with a dressing.

Faceclin Gel is applied topically.

Faceclin Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1% w/w): As an antibiotic, clindamycin inhibits the growth of acne-causing bacteria. It blocks bacteria's protein synthesis at their ribosomal level, thus reducing inflammation and preventing breakouts.

• Nicotinamide (4% w/w): This form of vitamin B3 works as an anti-inflammatory agent in managing acne. It reduces swelling, redness, and tenderness associated with acne lesions. Moreover, it controls sebum production by the oil glands in the skin, a key step in preventing clogged pores and bacterial growth that lead to acne. Nicotinamide also has skin-lightening properties that help fade post-acne marks and even out skin tone.

• Store Faceclin Gel at room temperature, below 30°C.

• Keep the tube away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

• Do not refrigerate or freeze this gel.

• Ensure that it is kept out of reach of children.

• Avoid touching your face frequently, as this can spread bacteria and oils that worsen acne. Make sure your hands are clean before applying Faceclin Gel.

• Try to incorporate foods rich in vitamin A, like carrots and sweet potatoes, into your diet. Vitamin A can help maintain healthy skin and may assist in managing acne.
