Eyemist Forte Eye Drops are used for the following:

• Managing dry eye disease, also known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca.

• Providing temporary relief from burning, irritation and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

• Aiding during various eye surgeries such as cataract extraction and lens implantation.

To use Eyemist Forte Eye Drops correctly, follow these steps:

• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

• Hold the dropper above the eye with the tip down and squeeze out a few drops as needed into this pocket.

• Close your eyes for 1 or 2 minutes with your head tipped down, without blinking or squinting.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Eyemist Forte Eye Drops . You can reinsert them 15 minutes after installation.

• If you are using other eye drops along with Eyemist Forte Eye Drops , wait for at least 5 minutes between applying each medication.

• Do not let the dropper tip touch your eye or any other surface to avoid contamination.

• Replace the cap immediately after use.

Eyemist Forte Eye Drops are instilled topically.

Eyemist Forte Eye Drops contain Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) (0.3 %), which acts on the body in the following ways:
