Euzyme Syrup is a digestive aid that is primarily used to treat digestive disorders and ensure normal digestion of starch or carbohydrate into a simpler form of sugar or carbohydrate. It also works as an appetite stimulant (increases hunger) and can help with acid reflux (heartburn), flatulence (gas), epigastric discomfort (upper abdomen pain), and eructation (burping). The starch hydrolysing enzyme fungal diastase breaks down complex carbohydrates (polysaccharides, i.e. starch) into simple carbs (monosaccharides, i.e. simple sugar).
