Composition

Adapalene (0.1 %) + Clindamycin (1 %)

Erytop A Gel is used to treat acne. Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles get trapped with dead skin cells and oil. This gel normalises the skin cells and helps in the shedding of dead skin cells. It also kills the bacteria that cause acne.

Apply a thin layer of Erytop A Gel over the acne region or as directed by the doctor. Wash and pat dry the skin before applying. It is for external use only. Wash your hands after use.

This gel is to be used strictly as per your doctor’s instructions. Do not over apply or stop its usage on your own as it can harm your skin. As with any other medication, this medicine also might have some side effects. However, if those side effects persist or worsen, seek medical help immediately and stop this gel’s usage till further instructions.

Side Effects of Erytop A 0.1/1 % Gel 15 GM

The following are Erytop A Gel side effects:

Dry skin - The appearance and feel of dry skin is rough, itchy, flaky, or scaly.
Skin irritation and redness - Skin may look red, inflamed and bumpy.
Burning sensation - Feeling of tingling or numbness of the skin.

Managing the Side Effects:

Dry skin - Apply a gentle moisturiser that helps to soothe the skin.
Skin irritation and redness- Avoid hot showers and do not rub the affected skin region.
Burning sensation- Apply sunscreen while going outdoors and reduce sun exposure.

Erytop A Gel is a combination medicine containing adapalene and clindamycin. Adapalene allows the shedding of dead skin cells and reduces the inflammation caused by acne.
Clindamycin is an antibiotic that lessens the acne-causing bacteria, prevents the blockage of skin pores and also reduces the acne spots.

Daily Dose

This medicine can be applied once daily or as directed by your doctor. The dosage, duration, and application may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment.

Over Dose

If you or anyone else accidentally swallows Erytop A Gel, you need urgent medical attention. Symptoms of overapplication include dry skin, skin irritation and redness, and burning sensation.

Missed Dose

If you forgot to use Erytop A Gel, apply it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next application is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one and resume your regular dosage pattern.

Store this medicine at a temperature not exceeding more than 25ºC
Protect it from light and moisture.

Avoid sun exposure while using Erytop A Gel as it may cause sunburn. Try to wear protective clothing and use sunscreen when outdoors.
After working out, shower immediately because sweat might aggravate acne.
