Equirab 1500 IU Injection 5 ML

Equirab 1500 Injection is made from a horse's blood. Within a few hours, it neutralises the pathogen at the wound site. Human (hRIG) and horse Rabies Immunoglobulin (RIG) are the two forms of Rabies Immunoglobulin. Both are clinically successful in removing the virus from the wound site. A doctor or nurse administers Equirab 1500 Injection as an injection. It's recommended for people who have been exposed to category III chemicals (in-depth injury). Before the immune system responds to the vaccine by producing rabies virus-neutralizing antibodies, RIG neutralises the rabies virus at the injection site. Both active (vaccine) and passive (Immunoglobulin) immunizations prevent the rabies virus from entering the central nervous system, but they are rendered useless once the virus has entered the CNS. The Equirab 1500 Injection is only given once in a lifetime.
