Epidosin Injection is used for the following conditions:

• Management of painful menstruation, also known as dysmenorrhea

• Relief from post-operative pain and intestinal spasms

• Alleviation of gastrointestinal spasms

• Reduction in discomfort caused by biliary colic, a condition due to gallbladder stones

• Facilitating cervical dilation during labour

Administer Epidosin Injection as follows:

• Ensure this medication is administered only by a qualified healthcare professional.

• The injection should be given directly into the muscle (intramuscularly) at regular intervals.

Epidosin Injection is administered via an intramuscular route.

Epidosin Injection contains a single active ingredient Valethamate (8mg). Here's how it works:

• Anticholinergic Action: Valethamate blocks the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contractions. By doing this, it helps relax certain muscles in your body.

• Reduction in Pain and Spasms: Because of its ability to block acetylcholine's action, valethamate can reduce pain and spasms associated with various conditions impacting smooth muscles in areas like the cervix and intestine.

• Store Epidosin Injection at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
