The uses of candid B cream are as follows:

• Candid B cream for ringworm: Ringworm, or dermatomycoses, are fungal skin infections affecting different body parts, including the scalp, feet, and other areas. Candid B cream uses include treating dermatomycoses. 
• Candid B cream for jock itch: Jock itch, also known as tinea cruris, is the ringworm of the groin area, inner thighs, and buttocks. It is characterised by itching, burning, and a red or brown rash. Candid B cream minimises the rashes and relieves itching.
• Candid B cream for athlete's foot: An athlete's foot is a common fungal infection of the skin on the feet, particularly in the areas between the toes. It is characterised by itching, burning, and skin flaking symptoms. Candid B cream kills the fungus, relieves the burning sensation and prevents skin flaking.
• Candid B cream for intertrigo: Intertrigo is a skin condition in areas where skin folds over itself, such as in the armpits, groin, and beneath the breasts. Symptoms include redness, itching, burning, and pain. It is caused by the buildup of moisture, friction, and heat, creating an environment for developing bacterial or fungal infections. Candid B cream controls the redness, swelling, and itching and relieves pain due to fungal infection.
• Candid B cream for Candidiasis: Candidiasis is a fungal infection caused by Candida yeast species, i.e. Candida albicans. It can affect different body parts, including the mouth, throat, genitals, and skin. Candid B can be used to treat candidiasis of the genitals and skin.
• Candid B cream for penile infection: Candid B cream also includes the treatment of fungal infections on the male genitalia, including penile yeast infections.
• Candid B cream for balanitis: Balanitis is when the head of the penis or the foreskin becomes inflamed due to infection or irritation. 
• Candid B cream for diaper rash: Candid B cream can also treat diaper rash caused by a fungal infection. However, it is essential to consult a doctor before using it for a diaper rash. 
• Candid B cream for rashes: Candid B cream can also be used to treat rashes caused by fungal infections.
• Candid B cream for eczema: Eczema is when the skin becomes inflamed, itchy, and red. In cases where a fungal infection causes eczema, treatment with Candid B cream can provide relief from eczema symptoms along with other preventive measures.

The use of candid B cream for dark spots is not recommended. Furthermore, the use of candid B cream on the face should be done with caution and avoided unless explicitly instructed by a doctor. The Candid B cream for nail fungus is also not recommended, as the active ingredient in Candid B cream, i.e. clotrimazole, is not well-suited for treating fungal infections of the nails.

The directions for using Candid B cream for fungal skin infections are as follows:

• Clean the affected area with mild soap and water, and pat it dry with a clean towel.
• Take a small amount of Candid B cream on your fingertip, and apply it to the affected area.
• Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is completely absorbed.
• Wash your hands after applying the cream to avoid spreading the infection to other body areas.
• Do not apply the cream on open wounds, cuts, or sores.
• Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing unless directed by your doctor.
• Candid B cream on the face, eye, mouth or vagina should be avoided.
• If candid B enters the eye, immediately wash your eye with cool, clean water. 
• If your symptoms do not improve or worsen after using Candid B cream, or if you experience any unusual side effects, contact your healthcare provider.

Candid B cream is a topical medication that is applied to the skin. It should not be ingested orally or administered through any other route.

The mechanism of Candid B cream involves the individual activities of its two active ingredients, Clotrimazole and Beclometasone Dipropionate. Clotrimazole exerts its action primarily by damaging the permeability barrier in the fungal membrane. Clotrimazole inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane that maintains its structure. When ergosterol synthesis becomes inhibited, the fungi cell can no longer perform its normal function. The disruption of the fungal cell membrane leads to its death.

When Candid B cream is applied topically, beclometasone dipropionate penetrates the skin and binds to cytoplasmic glucocorticoid receptors, a protein within the skin cells. It activates the glucocorticoid receptors protein, suppressing the growth of pro-inflammatory genes and stimulating the anti-inflammatory genes. It reduces the production of inflammatory cytokines, and chemokines, the proteins that contribute to skin inflammation.

Furthermore, beclometasone dipropionate also inhibits the migration of immune cells, such as neutrophils and macrophages, to the site of inflammation. It reduces the number of inflammatory cells at the site of infection and subsequently reduces skin inflammation.

The anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties of beclometasone dipropionate help to reduce skin inflammation and symptoms associated with skin infections.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 25 ºC.
• Do not freeze.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid harsh soaps, perfumes, or cosmetics that further irritate your skin.
• Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.
• Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, lean protein sources, and whole grains. Avoid processed and sugary foods.
• Keep the affected area clean and dry. Change clothes and undergarments daily.
• Wear loose-fitting clothes to allow your skin to breathe.
• Do not share towels, combs, or other personal items with others to prevent the spread of infection.
• Regular exercise can improve blood circulation and promote healing.
