Cadigran 1 MG Tablet 8 is primarily used to prevent and manage nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. This medicine is not a combination medicine and belongs to a class of medicines known as 5-HT3 receptor antagonists, also known as serotonin blockers.
In addition to its main use, it can also reduce nausea and vomiting caused by certain chemotherapeutic agents like cyclophosphamide, carboplatin, and cisplatin. Furthermore, it helps in managing nausea and vomiting induced by radiation therapy, including total body irradiation and fractionated abdominal radiation.
