Budetrol 200 Capsule is used for the following:

• Regular management of asthma in adults and children.

• As a maintenance medicine for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with frequent symptoms.

• Management of moderate to severe COPD in patients with a history of exacerbations.

Administer Budetrol 200 Capsule as follows:

Budetrol 200 Capsule is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients:

• Budesonide (200 mcg): This corticosteroid works by reducing irritation and swelling inside the lining of the nasal passage and airways. It inhibits the release of inflammatory chemicals, thereby reducing allergic reactions and inflammation.

• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): This long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist acts on the smooth muscles in the respiratory tract. During inflammation, these muscles constrict the airways, causing breathlessness. Formoterol relaxes these muscles, facilitating the opening of the airways and relieving breathlessness.

• Keep Budetrol 200 Capsule at room temperature, ideally between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
