BTR-D Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis: Osteoarthritis is a joint disorder involving damage to the joint's cartilage.

• Control of rheumatoid arthritis symptoms: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder that affects the joints, causing pain and swelling.

• Alleviation of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation: This includes pain from muscle strains, sprains, or other injuries to your body’s muscles, ligaments, or tendons.

• Reduction of postoperative pain and swelling: This medicine can help manage pain and reduce swelling after surgical procedures.

While taking BTR-D Tablet, please remember these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet as it might affect the medicine's effectiveness.

• Always follow your doctor's guidance on how often to take this medicine.

• Never exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor first.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine abruptly without speaking to your doctor first.

BTR-D Tablet is taken orally.

BTR-D Tablet contains four active ingredients:

• Bromelain (90 mg): This proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple stems has both anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Bromelain works by enhancing blood supply to the affected area, reducing the migration of inflammatory cells, thereby promoting the healing process.

• Diclofenac (50 mg): As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), diclofenac inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. By blocking these chemical messengers, diclofenac effectively reduces pain and inflammation.

• Rutoside (100 mg): Also known as rutin, rutoside is a flavonoid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps improve blood circulation by neutralising free radicals and preventing platelet aggregation, thus accelerating wound healing.

• Trypsin (48 mg): Trypsin is a proteolytic enzyme that, when combined with bromelain, offers anti-inflammatory effects. It increases the blood supply to the affected area and decreases the migration of inflammatory cells, thereby enhancing the healing process.

• Store the BTR-D Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature (around 25°C).

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Make sure to use it before its expiry date.
