Bilambic M Tablet 10

Bilambic M Tablet is used to manage following allergic conditions:

• Seasonal hay fever or allergic rhinitis: This is a type of inflammation in the nose due to an overreaction to allergens present in the air.
• Seasonal allergies: These are allergic reactions to substances such as pollen that occur at particular times of the year.
• Various other allergies: This includes allergies causing symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling.
• Asthma: Bilambic M Tablet helps reduce swelling in the airways, making breathing easier for asthma sufferers.
• Allergies to pet dander: If you experience allergic reactions to pet dander, this medication can help alleviate symptoms like sneezing, itching, and a congested nose.
• Dust mite allergies: Bilambic M Tablet can be used to manage symptoms caused by dust mite allergies, such as a runny or stuffy nose and itchy eyes.
• Rhinoconjunctivitis: Inflammation of the nose and eyes due to allergens, leading to symptoms such as sneezing, itching, redness, and watering of the eyes.
• Urticaria: Skin condition characterised by itchy welts or hives that appear suddenly and can be triggered by allergens or other factors.

• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your dose of Bilambic-M Tablet or take them more often than prescribed.

Bilambic-M Tablet is taken orally as a tablet.

Bilambic-M Tablet contains the following components:

• Bilastine (20 mg): It is an antihistamine that blocks histamine receptors in the body, preventing the binding of histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions. By inhibiting histamine's effects, bilastine helps reduce sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes commonly associated with allergic rhinitis. 
• Montelukast (10 mg): It is a leukotriene receptor antagonists. It targets leukotrienes, which are inflammatory compounds released in response to allergens. By blocking the action of leukotrienes, montelukast helps to decrease inflammation in the airways, effectively addressing symptoms like nasal congestion and difficulty breathing associated with allergic rhinitis. 

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Bilambic-M Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Use a saline nasal spray to rinse irritants and allergens from your nasal passages.
• Minimise exposure to allergens like pollen, dust mites, and pet dander by keeping windows closed, wearing face masks, and maintaining clean living spaces.
• Inhale steam from a bowl of hot water to help clear nasal passages and reduce congestion. Peppermint, eucalyptus, and tea tree essential oils can be used for steam inhalation or diffused to ease congestion.
• Apply a warm compress to your sinuses can help ease pain and pressure.
