Beryflox Tablet 10

Beryflox Tablet 10 is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis

• Urinary tract infections, including prostatitis

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea

• Various gastrointestinal infections

Here's how you should take Beryflox Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Follow the dosage guidelines given by your doctor.

• Complete the full course of this medicine even if your symptoms improve before the course finishes.

Beryflox Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Beryflox Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients:

• Cefixime (200 mg): As a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic, cefixime prevents bacterial cell wall formation. By doing this, it causes the death of the bacteria causing the infection.

• Ofloxacin (200 mg): Classified as a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, ofloxacin inhibits certain enzymes in bacteria called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are necessary for bacteria to replicate their DNA and grow. Inhibiting these enzymes disrupts this process and ultimately kills the bacteria.

• Lactobacillus (60 million spores): This beneficial bacterium helps maintain a healthy flora balance in your gut. Antibiotics can sometimes disrupt this balance by killing good bacteria along with bad ones. Including lactobacillus helps prevent issues like antibiotic-associated diarrhoea and supports overall gut health.

• Store Beryflox Tablet 10 at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from exposure to light and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine safely out of reach of children.

• Make sure to use Beryflox Tablet 10 before its expiry date.

• If you're managing bacterial infections with Beryflox Tablet 10, drinking plenty of fluids is beneficial. This helps flush bacteria out of your system and keeps you hydrated.

• Since antibiotics can disrupt gut flora, include probiotic-rich foods like curd in your diet. This aids in restoring the balance of beneficial bacteria in your gut.
