Augmentin Duo Oral Suspension is primarily used to manage bacterial infections in children. It belongs to a class of medicines known as antibiotics and is a combination product.
In addition to its main use, this medicine also manages a variety of other bacterial infections in your child, such as ear, nose, and throat infections like acute otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis. It also helps control respiratory tract infections like community-acquired pneumonia and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, dental infections, and even tuberculosis resistant to other treatments.
