AjaDuo 10mg / 5mg Tablet is utilised for the following health conditions:

• Managing high blood sugar levels in adults suffering from type 2 diabetes.

• Trimming down the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalisation in adults with type 2 diabetes and established heart disease.

• Reducing the chances of cardiovascular death and hospitalisation due to heart failure in adults.

• Assisting in the elimination of surplus glucose from the body via urine.

• Lowering the risk of severe diabetes complications like kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, and limb amputation.

Here's how you should take AjaDuo 10mg / 5mg Tablet:

• Take this medicine orally once daily in the morning. You can take it with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid splitting, crushing, or chewing it.

• Never exceed your prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Make sure not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

AjaDuo 10mg / 5mg Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Empagliflozin (10 mg): This component works by selectively inhibiting a protein called sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) in your kidneys. By blocking SGLT2, empagliflozin prevents glucose reabsorption, which leads to the excretion of excess glucose in urine and thus reduces blood glucose levels.
