  • Fatigue and weakness

How Vincristine works

  • Vincristine is an anti-cancer chemotherapy medication.

  • It works by interfering with cell division. It binds to tubulin, preventing the proper formation of microtubules, interfering with the creation of the mitotic spindle, and stopping cells from dividing.

  • It also inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA, which are essential for cell growth and reproduction. As a result, abnormally dividing cancer cells undergo programmed cell death.
