Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose can cause excessive bleeding. If an overdose occurs, stop the infusion immediately and consult your doctor.

• If you miss a dose, consult your doctor immediately. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience severe side effects or worsening symptoms, consult your doctor.

• For minor bleeding, apply gentle pressure on the area until bleeding stops.

• To manage nausea and vomiting, take small frequent meals and drink plenty of fluids.

• Tirofiban may cause dizziness or fainting. If you experience these, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you feel better.
