Flu-like symptoms
Joint pain
Swelling in legs/ankles/feet
Raloxifene is a Selective Oestrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM).
It selectively activates or blocks oestrogen receptors in different tissues. In bone tissue, raloxifene acts as an oestrogen agonist, helping to maintain bone density and reduce the risk of fractures. Conversely, in breast and uterine tissues, it acts as an oestrogen antagonist, reducing the risk of oestrogen-dependent cancers.
