How Naftopidil works

This action leads to the relaxation of smooth muscles in the lower urinary tract, thereby improving urine flow and reducing symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. In addition to this, Naftopidil also demonstrates some affinity for 5-HT1A serotonin receptors. This activity is believed to suppress C-fibre-mediated bladder contractions, which aids in alleviating symptoms of an overactive bladder and nocturia.
