Domperidone + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Tramadol is a combination used for managing pain, often with nausea relief.
Domperidone is an antiemetic. It works by countering the actions of a substance called dopamine in the brain, which causes feelings of sickness (nausea) and prevents vomiting. It also promotes movement in the digestive system, further reducing the feeling of sickness.
Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic and antipyretic. It helps to reduce pain and fever. It does this by blocking certain enzymes in the body that make prostaglandins. Lowering the levels of prostaglandins helps reduce pain and fever.
Tramadol is an opioid analgesic used to manage moderate to severe pain. It works by binding to specific receptors in the brain called opioid receptors, which block pain signals from reaching the brain. Tramadol also affects neurotransmitters like norepinephrine and serotonin, enhancing the body's natural pain-relief mechanisms.
