Dextropropoxyphene + Nimesulide + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is a combination analgesic medication.
Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid. It works by activating the opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord, which changes your body's response to and perception of pain.
Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Specifically, it inhibits an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances that mediate inflammation.
Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for sensations of pain and fever. However, its exact mechanism of action is not fully understood.
