• Desogestrel may interact with enzyme inducers (such as rifampin, phenytoin and carbamazepine) and enzyme inhibitors (such as ketoconazole, itraconazole and clarithromycin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Desogestrel may not result in serious ill effects, but symptoms including nausea, vomiting, and withdrawal bleeding may occur. If you experience these symptoms, consult your doctor.

• If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, do not double up on the dose to make up for the one you missed.

Management of Side Effects

• If you experience nausea, take your medicine after meals.
