How Cyproheptadine + Tricholine works

  • Cyproheptadine works by competing with histamine and serotonin at their receptors, thus exerting its antihistamine and anti serotonin effects. Its ability to stimulate appetite may be attributed to its antagonism of serotonin on the appetite centre of the hypothalamus.
  • Tricholine citrate acts as a bile acid-binding agent, eliminating surplus bile acids from the body. As a result, the liver taps into the body's cholesterol to generate additional bile acids, thereby reducing overall cholesterol levels in the body.
