Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Cyclopentolate may cause symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, fever, dry mouth and skin, hallucinations, and seizures. If you observe any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical attention.

• In case you happen to put a few extra drops of this medicine in your eye, do not panic. Rinse your eyes with clean water at room temperature. If any symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

• If you miss a dose of Cyclopentolate, take it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your usual dosage schedule. Avoid repeating the dose.

Management of Side Effects

• Most side effects are temporary, generally harmless, and resolve upon discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• To manage eye irritation, stinging, or burning sensation, try applying a cold compress to your eyes.

• In case of temporary blurred vision or increased sensitivity to light, avoid direct exposure to sunlight and use sunglasses.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• After instilling the medicine, you may experience blurred vision or a burning and stinging sensation. This can affect your ability to drive or operate heavy machinery. It is advised not to drive or operate machinery until its effects have completely worn off.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine. It should be used only if prescribed by the doctor.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Patients with Down syndrome may be more sensitive to the effects of Cyclopentolate and should exercise caution when using this medication.
