Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant. It reduces swelling in nasal tissues and lessens tissue hyperemia, which helps to reduce nasal congestion and sinus pressure.

Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Pseudoephedrine is available in different formulations for oral administration. These include tablets, capsules, liquid suspensions, and effervescent tablets.
This combination medicine is suitable for adults and children who are 12 years of age and older. For children under 12, the dose has to be determined by a doctor. It is not recommended for children under 4 years old.
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to any of the active ingredients (chlorpheniramine maleate, paracetamol/acetaminophen, pseudoephedrine) or any inactive ingredients.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Pseudoephedrine can interact with MAO inhibitors (like selegiline and phenelzine), antidepressants (such as fluoxetine and sertraline), blood pressure medications (like lisinopril and amlodipine), anticoagulants (including warfarin and rivaroxaban), sedatives (such as diazepam), tranquillizers and sleeping pills (like zolpidem), and other cough/cold/allergy products containing similar ingredients.
