Eye redness
Deposits in the cornea
Eye discomfort
Reduced visual acuity
Bleeding from the eyes
Benzalkonium Chloride + Netarsudil is an ophthalmic solution.
Netarsudil is a Rho kinase inhibitor. It increases the outflow of aqueous humor the fluid in our eyes by relaxing specific muscles in the eyes. This allows the fluid to drain more easily, thus reducing pressure inside the eyes.
Benzalkonium Chloride acts as an antimicrobial preservative. It kills bacteria and other microorganisms that could contaminate ophthalmic solutions. This compound works by breaking down the cell walls of these microorganisms, causing them to die and preventing them from multiplying and causing infections.
