Contraindications

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Benidipine + Telmisartan can cause severe hypotension, dizziness, and possibly fainting. If you suspect an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

• If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• For headaches, rest and drink plenty of water.

• If you feel dizzy, sit or lie down until you feel better.

• For fatigue, ensure you get enough rest and try to maintain a regular sleep schedule.

• If you experience nausea, try eating smaller, more frequent meals.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Benidipine + Telmisartan may cause dizziness or fatigue. If you experience these side effects, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you feel well enough to do so safely.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Benidipine + Telmisartan is not recommended for use during pregnancy, especially the second and third trimesters, due to potential harm to the foetus.

• It is not known whether this medication passes into breast milk; therefore, it is advised to consult your doctor before breastfeeding while taking this medication.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Caution should be exercised when using Benidipine + Telmisartan in patients with renal artery stenosis or aortic and mitral valve stenosis.
