• The oral drops can be used in children 6 months and above. The syrup can be used in children and adults above 2 years year of age.

Contraindications of Ambroxol + Guaifenesin + Terbutaline

• This combination is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ambroxol, guaifenesin and terbutaline. It is also contraindicated in heart problems and thyrotoxicosis (excess of thyroid hormones in blood).

Medications To Avoid With Ambroxol + Guaifenesin + Terbutaline

• Avoid taking beta-blockers, antidepressants, diuretics, methylxanthines, corticosteroids, antibiotics (amoxycillin, cefuroxime, and erythromycin), other antitussives, analgesics and antipyretics (paracetamol). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of Ambroxol + Guaifenesin + Terbutaline.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Overdose of this combination can cause dizziness, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and palpitations. These symptoms need to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
• If you miss a dose of this combination, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

• Take this combination with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects and continue taking it as prescribed. If side effects worsen or persist, consult your doctor for a possible treatment plan adjustment.

• This combination may cause dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do other activities that require mental alertness or coordination if you experience dizziness after taking it.
